April 1, 2009 - 3oh!3 at the Regency Grand Ballroom headlining the 2009 AP Tour.
3oh!3 was definitely the act that brought it the hardest at this year’s AP Tour. They got the floor literally shaking with their electro-crunk song “Chokechain.” Their energy radiated towards the crowd and got them to boisterously dance and sing along to every track.

I shot this show at 1600 and during this set I kept my shutter speed at 1/100 or higher with all the movement going on. I’ve always enjoyed shooting and experiencing 3oh!3′s shows. Their lights were without a doubt the most diverse of the show. I tried to catch the backlight flares the most, but they were frequent so I didn’t have much of a problem with that. At other points, there was zero front lighting for significant amounts of time, so a lot of those shots were obsolete. They were great to shoot, their charismatic stage presence offered many candid shots and their ambient lighting created an amazing energy.
